Groups representing police, public health officials and victims of crime banded together on Tuesday to lend their support to Quebec’s proposed gun registry — ahead of public hearings which are set begin next week. Bill 64 would essentially relaunch the Quebec portion of the federal long-gun registry which was killed off by the former Conservative government of Stephen Harper.
